GAS LOGS
Gas logs are intended to take the place of wood-burning in traditional masonry or pre-fabricated fireplaces. They require a fully functioning chimney with proper draw and are used only with the damper and glass doors wide open. Gas logs present a very realistic alternative to burning wood while eliminating the mess and smell of ashes. The latest technology in gas logs creates a genuine feel to the fire complete with glowing embers and golden flames; achieved simply by the turn of a knob.
Our standard gas log sets use the Flaming Ember single burner sand pan system. There are a number of hand-painted log styles and sizes to choose from. These six sets pictured below are available in stock sizes 20”, 24” and 30”. The Lonestar and Crossfire are also available in double burner sets for multi-sided fireplaces.
**All gas log sets are available with On/Off Remote, Modulating Remote or Wireless Wall Switch options.**

Specialty gas logs styles available include:
Pinehurst Timberfire gas log which uses a triple burner pan to create a taller flame effect- ideal for openings 29" high or taller.
Rumford Tipi gas log designed for Rumford style firplaces.
Custom Sandpan Burner system (used with Lonestar or Crossfire logs) has a full, rich flame and does not use a grate. Perfect for multi-sided openings.
FireBalls and FireStones are a unique alternative to logs.
Ultra-Fyre Fiber Glow gas logs by Portland Willamette are made of a lightweight ceramic fiber material. This system is ideal for LP burning fireplaces.

GAS INSERTS
Using the same technology as direct vent fireplaces, gas inserts allow homeowners to convert their existing conventional wood-burning fireplaces into highly efficient systems. A gas insert is an air-tight, sealed box that is inserted in to a fireplace opening. Converting to a gas insert system is ideal for the following reasons:
